Dave Scott
1970 Chevrolet Nova, chopped, black, fast, and sleek, this is Dave Scott's Super Gas ride. Powered by a 359 ci Chevy engine built by Brad Dove of Complete Machine Shop, in Port Charlotte, FL. with a single 4 BBL carb, this bad boy runs 9.50's at 139 MPH off of the throttle stop!

Dave is the Southeast Division II champion in S/G, out lasting some of the best Super Gas competitors in the country. Earlier in September, he was runner up in his category at the 20th Annual Jeg's All Stars competition at Route 66 Raceway in Chicago, enabling Division II to win the overall team championship.

His wife Tena, competed in Super Comp this year with her Mike Thompson powered dragster, earning a top 10 finish in the Division II standings.

Look out for this team next year!

Dave, his wife Tena, and their daughter, Tasha reside in North Port, Florida. This fast growing community is 10 miles from the Gulf of Mexico, and 10 miles from pure uninhabited Florida wildlife. Dave is an avid fisherman, who is very happy living along a waterway that leads to the Myakka River. Fresh caught seafood is at the top of the list at the Scott's hosehold. When he's not enjoying the fun and sun that Florida offers with his wife and daughter, he is busy fabricating trailer and shop accessories for his new  business, Trailer Trash.

Dave's family is definetly into drag racing and competitive sports. Along with Dave competing in NHRA, IHRA, Super Gas Association races, and area bracket races, Tena also competes in area bracket races with her Mike Thompson powered 540 ci Chevy dragster that runs 7.60's with a single 4 BBL on gas. His daughter Tasha, has competed in Jr. Dragster, and is also an accomplished gymnast who has won 4 national AAU & USAG championships in level 6-8, along with numerous state championships.

And here is Rusty Nails, Super Dog, and all around great friend to be around. Though he is not allowed to have people food, he is always around just in case you may drop a small morsel of delight. Here he is with his most recent race related accomplishment.
