Lightning Background / Gene Moore	Steve hails originally from Fulton, New York, and moved to Florida when he was 15. Starting out as a mechanic for local shops he quickly realized that to be able to go racing, it would be in his best interest to be his own boss. He opened Hunt's Performance in Englewood, Florida in 1985, and since, has never looked back. After driving an assortment of cars he readily jumped into Super Comp with its inception. He has attended every U.S. Nationals that Super Comp has been contested in, and has been a permanent fixture on the season ending western races that conclude with the World Finals in Pomona, California. Known for his uncomprable spicy chicken alfredo and Texas martini's with stuffed jalapenos, he has become one of the most liked racers in the pits. 2004 Worthy dragster with a 406 cubic inch Chevrolet engine, Pontiac heads, powers this dragster into the low 8 second zone. Additional components include a Deadenbear Powerglide, Hoosier slicks, MSD ignition, Fram/Autolite, Autometer guages, and CSI water pump and starter. Lifeblood of the engine is Valvoline. You obviously are a good cook, we can tell by all the talk in the pits about some of your latest creations, albiet somewhat on the spicy side. What are your favorite foods? Cajun foods are my favorite, all types of cajun, and I also like seafood. You watch a lot of movies, of all the movies that you've seen, which ones are on the top of your list? "Apocalypse Now" is at the top, but then there is another movie that was pretty good, and that was "Payback" with Mel Gibson, though that was somewhat of a dark type of movie, it was really good. Who is you favorite actors / actresses? Clint Eastwood, Mel Gibson, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. As far as actresses, it is Pamela Anderson, and Halle Berry. You always listen to music, who are your favorite singers or groups? Lynyrd Skynyrd, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Led Zeppelin. Now when it comes to cars, Steve has driven a wide variety of them, but of all the cars out there, which one is his favorite? An A C Cobra! But it would be really nice with about $2,000,000 worth of aftermarket billet components. How's that? You travel across the country quite a bit when you are racing, and you have seen alot of great places, where in the world would you like to visit? Hawaii and Australia.
